PAV123 Woody Fraser Productions 0 Jan 5 2012, 4:15 PM EST by PAV123
Thread started: Jan 5 2012, 4:15 PM EST  Watch
Backround: This was the vanity card of Woody Fraser, producer of "Wild and Crazy Kids" and "What Would You Do?"

Logo: On a blackround the white script text 'Woody Fraser' is getting written in. After not even a second two red lines draw in and 'PRODUCTIONS' also in white but appears between the lines. The white lowercase text 'in association with' appears below the logo.

Early variant: On the pilot epispde of "Wild and Crazy Kids" white lines instead of red ones are used. The logo also stays on-screen slightly longer than the main variant.

FX/SFX: The script writing in, the lines drawing, the words appearing.

Music/Sounds: The closing theme of the program.

Availability: Seen on "Wild and Crazy Kids" and "What Would You Do?"

Scare Factor: None.

PAV123 Regan Jon Productions 0 Jan 1 2012, 11:25 AM EST by PAV123
Thread started: Jan 1 2012, 11:25 AM EST  Watch
Logo: On a Red/Gray striped backround we see the text "Regan Jon" in a grunge font. The word "Productions" in the same font but green and smaller slides up to the text. All the while what appears to be "we/r/u" with a shadowy graphic is vibrating.

FX/SFX: The text vibrating, the movement of "productions".

Music Sounds: A creepy 6 note hip-hop theme.

Availability: Seen on earlier episodes of "Moesha" and "The Parkers".

Scare Factor: Low to Minimal, all thanks to the music. The fonts of the texts don't really help matters.

PAV123 American Film Technologies 0 Dec 31 2011, 9:08 AM EST by PAV123
Thread started: Dec 31 2011, 9:08 AM EST  Watch
Backround: American Film Technologies was a San Diego based film colorization unit headed by media mogul Ted Turner.

Logo: On a blue/gold gradiant backround the Italisized words COLORIMAGED in white with a rainbow outline going from red to yellow to blue and 'by' in a small white fontzooming out from the left. Suddenly a spark hits the word 'by' and the words fade out in a series of sparks. Then a gold abstract shape (what looks like an incomplete AFT with no middle slash) zooms out rom the top of the screen and the blue words AMERICAN FILM TECHNOLOGIES INC. in blue zooms from the bottom. Both of the objects stop in the middle and three rainbow lines flip and stop in the abstract shape making up the slashes for the A and F.

FX/SFX: Early CGI.

Music Sounds: A droning note followed by a dramatic 5 note theme.

Availability: A hard call. Many of the films the company colorized have been revised by other companies. Might be found on colorized Micky Mouse cartoons and the 1992 "Zorro" tv series.

Scare Factor: Low. This will suprise you even of you've seen it before.
Do you find this valuable?
