Background: Doozer is a production company/vanity card responsible for NBC's Scrubs, the ABC series Cougar Town, and the 2005 TV movie Confessions of a Dog. It was a play on the builder characters named doozers from the puppet version of Jim Henson's Fraggle Rock.

Nickname: "Bye-Bye!"

Logo: On a light brown paper background, we see the red letters "D" and "ZER" writing itself, with "D" and "ZER" in an italic Times New Roman font. Suddenly, the face writes between "D" and "ZER" to create the word "DOOZER". A nose, mouth and a hair are drawn out in the glasses, which the face says, in a baby's voice, "Bye-Bye!"


FX/SFX: The logo writing itself. However, on Comedy Central's reruns of Scrubs with split-screen credits, there is no animation for this logo at all.

Cheesy Factor: VERY choppy logo animation.

Music/Sounds: No music; just the baby uttering the phrase over the logo, follwed by a razzberry, but sometimes the closing theme of the show, which is the long version of the theme song to Scrubs, which plays over the sound during the logo.

Availability: Can be seen on Scrubs on NBC (will air on ABC starting in 2009), syndication and Comedy Central. It is also currently seen on the sitcom Cougar Town, which has aired on ABC since September 23, 2009. On September 1, 2008, Scrubs began airing on TV Land. Also appeared on the 2005 TV movie Confessions of a Dog.

Scare Factor: Low; the phrase "Bye-bye!" during the logo may catch you off guard.
