Background: Reel FX Creative Studios (also known as Reel FX Animation Studios), is an American digital studio founded in 1996 by Dale Carman and David Needham, and based in Dallas, Texas and Santa Monica, California. In 2007, Reel FX merged with Radium, which rebranded itself to Radium/Reel FX in 2010 and Reel FX in February 2012. The company is known for producing Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away, Free Birds, and The Book of Life, as well as providing the animation for Everyone's Hero and Rock Dog.
