1st Logo

Logo: In a similar font as the last logo, we see the text "UNITED ARTISTS CORPORATION" and the names of the founders listed below.
3rd Logo
(1967-1968)

Logo: A circle with the words "United Artists" inside, with the "U" and the "A" somewhat connected. "A Transamerica Company" appears below with the "Transamerica" inside the circle at the bottom of the circle below "Artists" while "A" and "Company" are outside of the circle beside "Transamerica".

Trivia: This logo was created when Transamerica Corporation purchased United Artists in 1967.

Logo: A different variant of the last logo, only the circle is now a rounded rectangle and is now inside a movie spotlight lamp.



5th Logo
(1968-1975)

Logo: The text "United Artists" is now in a different font, and on the bottom right, a six-lined T (three lines going up and left, three lines going up and right), known as the 'Transamerica T', is seen, with the text "Entertainment from Transamerica Corporation" to the right of the T.

Trivia: In 1968, United Artists updated their logo because Transamerica updated their logo, using the logo on all their properties like Liberty Records, Transamerica Airlines, Blue Note Records, Transamerica Distribution Services and of course, United Artists.



6th Logo
(1975-1981)

Logo: Similar to the previous logo, but with the Transamerica byline shortened to "A Transamerica Company", and "United Artists" taking place next to the 'Transamerica T' instead of above.



7th Logo

Logo: Similar as before, but without the 'Transamerica T' or the byline, only reading "United Artists".

Trivia: From 1968 up until 1981, this was used as an alternate logo, After Transamerica Corporation lost United Artists, this became their main logo until 1982.
8th Logo
(1982-1987)

Logo: A stylized "UA" is seen, with consists of a U with a higher left side and a diagonal line on the right side, representing an A. The text "United Artists", in the same font as the previous logo, is seen below.



9th Logo
(1987-1993)

Logo: Another stylized "UA" is seen, but with an even-sided U and a connected diagonal line with 3 spikes, again representing an A. The text "United Artists", in ITC Avant Garde Graphic, appears below.

Logo: In a fancy chiseled text, the words "UNITED ARTISTS" are seen, with a light flare on the right end of the U.

Logo: Similar to the 8th logo, only the U is wider and is even with it's right side. The "United Artists" text is in a different spaced out font.

Logo: Exactly like the 9th logo, but the "UA" is a bit wider, "United Artists" is in a different font and "AN MGM COMPANY" appears below.
