Background: Linux Mint is a Linux distro based on Ubuntu and Debian.

Note: The music and/or sounds on these logos are the sounds played by the computer at some point during the system startup, and might not be heard on the logos themselves. The usage dates are determined by the release date of the system, up to the date that all support to the OS is discontinued.

Logo: On a black background, we see a mint leaf containing an "l" and an "m" connected together.

Variants:
  • When running the KDE edition of Linux Mint, the logo is blue and behind it is a gear.
  • Starting with the release of version 18, below appears 5 dots turning white and green one by one again and again. If using a live CD, when you shut down, Below appears "Please remove the installation medium, then press ENTER."

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: A short chime jingle. No sounds at shutdown.
