Logo descriptions by Codyfinke6

1st (known) Logo
(1998-1999)

Logo: On a fancy 70's-esque orange background, we see seven squares (except for the "G", which is red, all other letters are black) spin around, reading "Game Show" on it. "Originals", in a much fancier font, appears below.

FX: All the animation in the logo.

Music: An upbeat synth and xylophone tune.

Availability: Extinct outside of tapes. This was on Faux Pause and As Seen On... to name a few.

Scare Factor: None.

2nd Logo
(1999-2004)

Game Show Network Originals - CLG Wiki

Nicknames: "The 1999-2004 GSN Ident", "The Factory", "You're Watching"

Logo: We see the 1999-2004 Game Show Network ident, only without the ball being seen (if you don't remember, the original "you're watching" ID containted a pinball that moved around on various spheres against a yellow-blue background, blue-black background, or yellow-green background, then the GSN logo appears). The word "originals" in a somewhat stylized weird font like the kind on computers of the 1980's, that also appeared on GSN's schedule from 1999-2001, appears under the GSN logo.

Variant: An early version with "distributed by" was seen above the logo. Hollywood Showdown is the only known show with this variant.

FX: Everything.

Cheesy Factor: The animation appears to have been slowed down slightly.

Music: A jingle that consists of a "whirr" and a funky Moog synth disco tune. Basically a condensed version of the "you're watching" ID music.

Availability: Since March 15, 2004, when Game Show Network became GSN, this is no longer seen on reruns of GSN Originals from this era, and any show produced by GSN no longer uses a GSN Originals logo, so it's considered rare outside of tapes, but it's still intact on Hollywood Showdown on TV Guide Network.

Scare Factor: Minimal.
