Logo description by Michael Bass

Background: This was the production company of actor/comedian Sinbad, with the name coming from his real name David Adkins. It could also have been inspired from his Christian upbringing, since the story of David & Goliath came from the Bible.

Logo: On a white/gray gradient background, we see the word "DAVID" on the left near the bottom of the screen, and the three-dimensional yellow text "GOLIATH" is positioned vertically on the right. A purple ampersand bounces on "GOLIATH" and positions itself between "DAVID" and "GOLIATH" as "GOLIATH" becomes horizontally positioned. The small word "PRODUCTIONS" appears below "GOLIATH" aligned to the right.

FX/SFX: The ampersand bouncing on "GOLIATH," the positioning of "GOLIATH," the appearance of "PRODUCTIONS" below.

Music/Sounds: A whoosh sound is heard when the "DAVID" throws the ampersand and "GOLIATH" with the latter making a deep voiced male grunt "Uhh!". A "boom" noise is heard when "GOLIATH" falls down. The end theme or parting scene audio of the show was also used.

Availability: Seen on the short-lived Fox sitcom The Sinbad Show. This may have also been seen on the Soul Music Festival specials that aired in the late 1990's. Also appeared on Sinbad's comedy special Afros and Bellbottoms.
