Background: Bonne Pioche is a French film and television production company founded in 1993 by Yves Darondeau, Christophe Lioud, and Emmanuel Priou.


1st Logo
(2005-2013)


Logo: We see some clouds with a moon at night, then some ripples appear, as if it starts to rain. Then the ripples transition to the star background with the word
s"BONNE PIOCHE." The word "BONNE" has a second letter N mirrored. The star shines.

Trivia: Bonne Pioche is the French phrase, translating "good pick."

FX/SFX: The ripples.

Music/Sounds: The sounds of water dropping, with bells ringing. On the english dub of March of the Penguins,the opening theme of the movie. is heard

Availability: Seen on March of the Penguins as well as the original French version of the movie La Marche de L'Emperuer.

2nd Logo
(2013-)

Logo: Same as before, but there are more clouds in the night sky and the moon is more visible. The text has the "BONNE PIOCHE" logo in white with two N's in different heights. Three red stars shine.

FX/SFX: The ripples.

Music/Sounds: Same as the previous logo.

Availability: Seen on newer films from the company, such as Once Upon a Forest(not to be confused with the 1993 Hanna-Barbera feature of the same name.) Also appears on the series Come and Get It!. It was also seen on the French version of March of the Penguins 2: The Next Step, but it is unknown if the US release will have it.
