Background
: Boing is a youth-oriented television broadcasting in Italy, France, Spain, and South Africa, co-owned by Mediaset and Turner. The channel started to broadcast in Italy on November 20, 2004.

1st ID
(November 20, 2004-2012)

Nicknames: "TV libera tutti," "Ma télé maboule," "Screaming Red Bouncing Ball," "BOING!," "The Red Bouncing Ball Hits The Screen"

Logo: On a white background, a red bouncing ball jumps from the logo that said "Boing
" and thered bouncing ball hits the screen. Later, the red bouncing ball jumps to the logo again by reversing. The logo was shown with the slogan "TV libera tutti."

Variants:
  • Various Christmas variants were aired until the network's rebrand in 2009 until 2012.
  • Other known variants include mascots of the network itself.
FX/SFX/: Flash animation and CGI animation, though the logo's animation is dated.

Music/Sounds:
A red bouncing ball saying "BOING!", plus with a xylophone sound. Sometimes, the red ball screams.

Music/Sound Variants: Some Boing bumpers from 2007 until 2012 include a rock theme song.

Availability: Due to its rebrand of the network in 2012 (which was the France feed), the 1st ID is considered extinct and only a few VHS and DVR recordings are available. The final use of the first logo was the Italy feed on March 7, 2016, coinciding the 2nd logo and the 2016 rebrand.

Editor's Note: None.

2nd ID
(2009-2016)

Nicknames:"Tv libera tutti 2," "Ma télé maboule 2," "Let's Bounce!," "The Red Bouncing Ball Hits The Screen 2"

Logo: After a particular mascot or a promo of a show, the red bouncing ball hits the screen with the words "Boing!" and the same slogan from the first logo.

Trivia: The Spanish feed used this ID only for one year, due to the fact that many Spanish viewers didn't like the second logo.

FX/SFX: CGI animation.

Music/Sounds: A rock theme song.

Availability: Extinct. Replaced by the 4th ID on March 7, 2016.

Editor's Note: None.

3rd ID (Spanish feed only)
(2011-2016)

Nicknames: "Spinning Ball," "Blue Ball of Excitement," "Inside The Loading Ball"

Logo: In a blue background, the blue ball spins and a particular character from a TV show with the word "> ahora." After that, the blue ball spins to the original shape. Then a URL linked to the Spanish Boing website appears.

Trivia: This was the replacement of the second set of IDs that Boing used from 2011 to 2016, due to the fact that many Spanish viewers didn't like the second logo. Another notable note for the 3rd logo is that it doesn't have mascots.

Variants:
  • On holidays, the blue ball opens up with a loading screen, plus a promo or trailer is played.
  • Sometimes, the bumpers also includes the word "SEGUIMOS" at the beginning.
FX/SFX: CGI animation, plus almost a blend of live-action and 2D animation.

Music/Sounds: Multiple moods and genres were used, including techno, disco, rock, and others. Soundbite of characters can be heard.

Availability: Extinct, replaced by the 4th ID on March 7, 2016.

Nicknames: "Better Together," "Insieme è meglio," "Boing Goes Fusion," "Boing Fusion," "Mascot Fusion," "Mascot Swap," "Bodyswap," "Headswap," "Redesigned Mascot"

Logo: When a mascot was standing on a plain-colored background, a slinky-shaped bouncing ball turned one mascot into an extraordinary type of mascot. After that, it merged into the Boing logo.

Trivia: On February 2016, a teaser for the March 7 rebrand was shown. This features all the returning mascots of the channel in a new form.

FX/SFX/Cheesy Factor: CGI animation. Designed by LUMBRE.

Music/Sounds: It starts with a Looney Tunes-esque descend sound and a glass-breaking sound can be heard, following an electronic and techno-based soundtrack, plus ends with a five-note jingle (in similar to Cartoon Network's four-note jingle).

Availability: Still in use as of March 7, 2016 (beginning with the Italian feed).
