Asia Video (1990s)

Nicknames: "Cheesy Text", "MGM/UA Home Video of Korea"

Logo: On a black background, the blue word "ASIA" slides in quickly to the left, followed by the green "VIDEO". The two words then slide in together, with the 1st vertical half of "VIDEO" seen. This repeats again, before the same words slide in, but more moved up, with "ASIA", now being green and "VIDEO" being red. After a second of the black screen the same words appear moving back. Once the words place in, "ASIA" turns yellow and "VIDEO" turns light cyan, then both words change into a purple/blue/green gradient, before the gradient turns brighter. Then yellow-ish Korean letters appear, sandwiched by a pink Asian letter, making "ASIA" also turn pink and "VIDEO" turn black. A gray gradient then wipes in on "VIDEO", and the colors slightly change, as a line wipes in below. "VIDEO" wipes to black for a second before it's gradient appears again.

FX/SFX: The text moving, changing colors, and the elements wiping in.

Music/Sounds: First the MGM/UA Communications theme plays, followed by the CBS Video fanfare (which would be also used for the MGM/CBS and MGM/UA Home Video logos), and after a second of silence, the United Artists "Swoosh" theme plays.

Availability: Seen on home video releases by them.

Editor's Note: None.
