(1987-)
WHRO-TV (1989)
Nickname: "The Ribbons"

Logo: On a blue/black gradient background, we see the words "WHRO" in an odd futuristic font, with the R connecting with the 1 in the number 15 sitting next to the letters. All those letters are in chrome. The words "HAMPTON/NORFOLK" are chyroned in above. Below, a white ribbon brings forth a red ribbon reading "TV Worth Watching" in a cursive font.

FX: The ribbons.

Cheesy Factor: The ribbon animations look very primitive.

Music/Sounds: A female voice singing "WHRO", then a saxophone stinger.

Availability: Extinct on TV, but currently on use to fake life after "Old School", the worst worst TV show in B&W kinescope is gone from TV; only used as a "you're watching" local ID.

Scare Factor: None.
