Background: WarnerVision Entertainment formed a kids' label called KidVision in 1993, which is pretty much like SME's Sony Wonder label. KidVision mainly distributed most kids movies and TV series, such as The Magic School Bus and the original VHS release of Gumby: The Movie. In 1997, KidVision moved under Warner Home Video, and continued to distribute Magic School Bus videos until March 1998. However, from January 1999 until April 2002, they would be distributed by 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment and some distributed in tandem with KidVision. The company was shut down at the end of 2002 after their last title, The Magic School Bus: Holiday Special, was released, and hasn't distributed any videos ever since.

1st Logo
(1993-1994)

Nicknames: "Early KidVision", "Still KidVision"

Logo: On a black background, we see the print version of the KidVision logo.

Variant: Some tapes have the logo on a white background.

FX/SFX: It's still.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Extremely rare; seen on The Baby-Sitters Club videos released by KidVision. It is also on Shining Time Station Vol. 1: Stacy Cleans Up on VHS.

Scare Factor: None.

2nd Logo
(1994-2002)

KidVision - CLG Wiki

Nickname: "The Chalkboard"

Logo: On a gradient white-gray leather background, we see a black chalkboard, with chalk, writing out "KidVision". As it is done drawing, the chalk draws a red rectangle around the text, and a shooting star flies across the text from left to right, coloring the text.

FX/SFX: The animation in the logo. Good animation.

Music/Sounds: The sound of chalk writing and a twinkling sound when the comet flies by. This is sometimes accompanied by a bus beeping (found on Magic School Bus tapes), or a male voice saying "Kidvision" (found on some Kidsongs tapes).

Availability: Seen on Magic School Bus, The Adventures of Mary-Kate and Ashley, Shining Time Station, and later Kidsongs VHS tapes, as well as Gumby: The Movie.

Scare Factor: None.

It's a white BG. I have proof. I rented a Babysitter's Club Mystery video yesterday, and the logo was on a white background.

KidVision didn't close in 1997. They continued distributed tapes under Warner Home Video's ownership until 2002.

PROOF: I once owned an MSB tape from 2002, that KV co-distributed w/WHV when I was little.
