Background: Warner Pioneer was a joint venture between American music company Warner Music Group and Japanese electronics company Pioneer Corporation (owned an entertainment division at the time), founded in 1971. In 1991, Warner Music bought out the remaining shares of the company, which was later to be renamed to its current name, Warner Music Japan.

As the shield rests in place we zoom away from the video wall. The shield suddenly changes texture, from a flat white shield with a gray shadow to a somewhat glossy shield. As that happens, the Pioneer logo wipes into place below the shield, and a white outlined box fades in, surrounding the shield.
