Background: Starz! Pictures was an internal studio of Starz, launched to produce cable movies for their channel. The studio was closed in 2002, after they released their first and only major film project.

1st Logo
(1994?-2002)

Logo: A spotlight shining the then-current Starz logo is seen on a dark background. The name "STARZ! PICTURES" is seen below the logo. The logo itself looks like it is self contained in a box, as a blue light that is clearly seen in the right hand corner is cut off.

FX/SFX: The logo panning over.

Music/Sounds: A piano entry.

Availability: Appears on several TV-movies, like Escape from Atlantis.

Editor's Note: None.

2nd Logo
(March 3, 2002)

Logo: A gray explosion of fog occurs on a black background. After a few seconds, the fog moves around and forms a spotlight shape, as we see several light streaks below the spotlight form the then-current Starz logo. The spotlight circle releases a lot of light, as "STARZ! PICTURES" fades in underneath the picture. As the light dies down, the spotlight becomes enclosed in a box in a 2D style.

FX/SFX: The foggy light and star forming.

Music/Sounds: The opening sounds of the movie.

Availability: Seen only on Joe & Max.

Editor's Note: None.
