Logo descriptions by Eric S.

Background: Raedon Home Video is known for making the worst, and somewhat awkward direct-to-video films ever made between 1987 and 1990. This company was based in Southern California (Northridge, then Chatsworth).

1st Logo
(1985-1989)

Raedon Entertainment Group (1985-1989)

Logo: On a white background, we see the Raedon logo, consisting of two layers of text with "rae" on the top and "don" on the bottom in a tubular font. The "R" and the "D" appear connected. Between the "AE" and the "ON" of "RAEDON", we see the phrase "ENTERTAINMENT GROUP, INC." with a line under it. Next to the "ON", we see the phrase, in smaller text, "FORMERLY HOME MOVIE MOGUL, INC".

FX/SFX: The fading in and out of the logo.

Music/Sounds: A
synthesized-tribal-like sounder.

Availability: Extremely rare. Raedon Home Video produced and distributed hundreds of awful and hilariously bad B-movies, and many of the releases which had been originally distributed by them moved to other distributors.

2nd Logo
(1989-1992)

Raedon Home Video (1989-1990)

Logo: Just a blue background with the Raedon Home Video logo from the 1st logo on it in white with "HOME VIDEO" seen on the top of the line instead and nothing under the line. The logo then fades to a black background where "PRESENTS" in white appears letter by letter.

FX/SFX: The fading of the logo and typing of the letters.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Seen on Raedon Home Video tapes of the era, including Provoked and Hell Spa.
