1st LogoParticipant Media - CLG Wiki
(September 15, 2005)

Logo: On a black background, we see a row of uneven blue boxes, each containing a capital letter in italics. There are sticks below each box, probably to resemble banners that crows hold. The letters together form PARTICIPANT. There is "PRODUCTIONS" below at the right side.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Seen on American Gun.


2nd Logo
(October 21, 2005-December 21, 2007)
Participant Productions
Logo: On a black background, a row of blue (or gray) boxes rotate in, each of them containing a capital letter in italics. Together they form PARTICIPANT. There is "PRODUCTIONS" below at the right side. Then the logo rotate back or just fade out.

FX/SFX: The boxes rotating.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Uncommon. Can be seen on Syriana and North Country among others.


3rd Logo
(April 11, 2008-October 2, 2015)

Logo: On a black background, light effects swirl and form "participant" word with "MEDIA" in darker tint below (both in Trade Gothic Extended) and the small red circle near to the word.

Variant:
  • On the trailers, the background can be white.
  • On several movies released in 2014, the small text "10th ANNIVERSARY" fades in below the logo.
  • A short version formerly appeared on TV shows from the now-defunct Pivot.

FX/SFX: The light effects.

Music/Sounds: A mellow orchestral tune.

Availability: Common, but now retired. Can be seen on Contagion, Waiting for Superman, The Beaver, Food, Inc., and Snitch, among others.

4th Logo
(October 16, 2015-)

Logo: There are currently two animated variants, both featuring an updated design (stacked name in white font; second p and d connected) with the first p cote-out and with a turquoise counter.
Logo 1:The logo gradually wipes in from the left, stays on for several seconds, and swiftly wipes out to the right.
Logo 2: Beacons of soft, blue light bring the letters of the wordmark together.

FX/SFX: The shadows for the first variant; the beacons and the letters for the second.

Music/Sounds: The previous theme (usually abridged), the opening theme, or none.

Availability: The first version made it's premiereon Bridge of Spies and was used until RBG.The second version made it's debut on Green Book and is still in use
