Background: Nasir Hussain Films is an Indian film company founded in 1960 by Nasir Hussain, and didn't use a logo until 1963. It produced several films from 1963 until 1992. Although the company didn't produced films from then, the company is active and has participated in some films by equipments and editing.

Nicknames: "Mehboob's Not Communist Cousin", "nH from Hell", "The nH Column", "The Other Indian Thunderstorm"

Logo: We see various thunders and fogs on a black background (think of the Mehboob Productions logo). As the thunder stops appearing a line shoots by and forms a circular border. The line leaves three marks and keeps on spinning fast. Everything fades into a clearer background, and the lights reveal a column with the word "FILMS" on it's capital. Above it there's an "nH", with a facial sculpture facing right seen above the n.

Variant:
  • On Teesri Manzil, the logo is tinted red, making the logo scarier.
  • On Baharon Ke Sapne, the logo is in B&W.
  • From 1973 to 1992, when the logo company appears, the face is yellow, the nH is almost white, the background is less darker and the "FILMS" letters are in different colours.

FX/SFX: The thunders, the fog and the circle.

Music/Sounds:

Until the apparition of the logo:
  • From 1963 to 1973: A dark hum with the sounds of thunder, then an arpeggiated Indian instrument theme, followed by a crash cymbal.
  • From 1977 to 1992: A tune with a violin with the sounds of the thunders, and then kind of xilophon is played, followed after by a kind of computer sound and 6-note dramatic fanfare.
When the logo of the company appears:
  • From 1963 to 1977: A male announcer speaks, and when he stops, we hear another cymbal.Baharon Ke Sapne uses a different voice.
  • Hum Kisise Kum Naheen: After the male announcer finishes speaking, the logo is silent.
  • From 1981 to 1992, the male announcer is different, and after he finishes speaking, we hear some notes from a kind of lyre.

Availability: Seen on Phir Wohi Dil Laya Hoon, Teesri Manzil, Pyar Ka Mausam, Caravan, Yaadon Ki Baaraat, Hum Kisise Kum Naheen, Zamaane Ko Dikhana Hai, Manzil Manzil, Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar. All of them have been uploaded to YouTube.
