Background: Based in the town of Vilassar de Mar, Llamentol started its activity in the early 2000's as a very modest distribution company (cheap releases of early Chuck Norris films, for instance). Nowadays, it handles the rights of some high-profile anime: Naruto, Full Metal Alchemist (with the collaboration of Panini Comics), some hentai (erotic) material and even Osamu Tezuka's classic Kimba the White Lion, History and Discovery Channel's documentaries, and series like Bonanza and Poldark. Llamentol
Nickname
: "Crossed Pincers of Boredom"

Logo: On a white background, we see a weird looking image depicting a pair of crossed pincers (forming a V-like shape), followed by green uppercase serif letters that read "LLAMENTOL S.L." (S.L. is an equivalent to Ltd.).

Trivia: "Llamentol" (in fact the spelling is erroneous: the right word is "llamàntol". Whether it's a deliberate mistake or not, we don't know) is the Catalan word for a crustacean called a "homard" (hence the pincers). Probably the company owes its name to the fact that the territory where Vilassar is located (a comarca, or county, called Maresme, in central Catalonia) is a very important fishing enclave.

FX/SFX: None; it's a still and boring logo.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Scarce. Can be found on earlier DVD prints by Llamentol, such as their Chuck Norris collection and some documentaries.

Editor's Note: None.
