Background: KOCE-TV is the PBS affiliate located in Huntington Beach, California. It became the primary PBS affiliate for Los Angeles after KCET disaffiliated with PBS and became an independent public television station on January 1, 2011.

1st Logo
(1970's?-1983)
Logo: It starts with a ground view of the sand and the shores of Huntington Beach, gradually panning up. Midway though this sequence, "KOCE" zooms in and later "HUNTINGTON BEACH" zooms out and once they meet, they stop with "KOCE" above "HUNTINGTON BEACH". The beach continues to run forward.

FX/SFX: The camera panning up from the ground, still going forward, and the words joining on-screen.

Music/Sounds: Water waves crashing, accompanied by the sound of seagulls.

Availability: Extremely rare, as most shows with this logo are, as of now, exclusive to non-television media. Check any tapes from this logo's era, or if you're very lucky, it may show up on DVD.

2nd Logo
(1972?-19??)

Logo: We see text like this:

A KOCE-TV50PRODUCTION

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: Closing theme of the show.

Availability: Ultra rare. Seen at the end ofThe Dedication of Channel 50.It is currently unknown if it appeared on anything else.

Editor's Note: None.

Logo
: On a black/blue gradient background, we see "KOCE", in Aero Extended Solid font. "PRESENTS", in the same font, but outlined (kind of like the "3" "2" "1" "GO" text seen in Metropolis Street Racer before the race starts) quickly fades in below.

Variant: Another version of this logo has the "KOCE" text (in the same font as above mentioned) zoom away from the viewer, and then a huge flash appears as it turns out to be a giant "50"(in the same font as "KOCE"). Then, the text "Orange County" sketches itself under the "KOCE" and the "50".

FX/SFX: Just the appearance of the logo and "PRESENTS" fading in.

Music/Sounds: An ascending wind sound, with an electronic synth note, followed by an additional synth note that is cut off at the end. On the variant, it has a whoosh sound, followed by a short synth tune with bells heard in the background.

Availability: Used on programming at the time.

4th Logo
(1997-2004)

Logo: On a black background, we see "KOCE", this time in Arial font, and all lower-case letters, colored gold. It appears to be in a tilted position, but it straightens KOCE (2000)itself out quickly, as a boomerang-shaped crest flies from left to right. "Presentation", colored white, and all upper-case letters, drops down a bit, then zooms in quickly.

FX/SFX: The animation's simple, but it's better than the previous logo sans for "PRESENTATION" blocking the logo.

Music/Sounds: A synthesized lute jingle.

Availability: Rare. Can be found at the end of Wai Lana Yoga on select PBS stations.

Editor's Note: None.
