Background: Honneamise was a boutique label owned by the American subsidiary of Bandai Visual that distributed deluxe editions of anime and artsier products. The namesake of the company comes from Royal Space Force: The Wings of Honnêamise. The company was shut down in July 2008 when Bandai Visual USA was absorbed into Bandai Entertainment. The company's releases were distributed by Geneon and Image Entertainment.

Logo: On a black background, a cyan line streaks in from the middle-left and moves to the right, as a red circle flashes at the bottom. Then, an orange streak moves in and a cyan circle flashes at the bottom, and a red streak appears and an orange circle flashes in. The picture zooms out to reveal that the colors are coming from three lines with colored circle ends that are arranged like a circle and are spinning around. As the lines zoom out, the background changes to white and the spinning slows down to a halt. "HONNEAMISE" fades in below, followed by "Presented by BANDAI VISUAL" wiping in underneath.

FX/SFX: The streaks, the spinning.

Music/Sounds: A somber string score with a female choir singing "Honneamise-ahhhhh..."

Availability: Rare. Honneamise distributed deluxe editions of Bandai's films such as Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade and Akira, but their releases are hard to come by these days save for Amazon and eBay. It makes a surprise appearance on the 2012 Funimation release of Tales of Vesperia: The First Strike.

Editor's Note: This is a soothing logo.
