Logo descriptions by SnowflakesOmega

Background: Wizards of the Coast is a publisher of board, trading card and dice games, mostly based on fantasy and science fiction. The company was formed in 1990 as an operator of retail stores, and later evolved into the current game publishing status. The company popularized the Magic: The Gathering TCG, acquired the Dungeons & Dragons franchise, and licensed the Pokémon Trading Card Game for US sale. A few Wizards of the Coast products have been adapted for video game productions including Planescape: Torment (under the TSR brand) and Icewind Dale.
