Background: Victory Television was a London-based television production company that's a joint venture of Sony Pictures Television and former SPT international production senior vice president of creative development, Victoria Ashbourne, that was founded on June 23, 2011. The UK production company is not to be confused with the defunct U.S. television distribution company Victory Television that became "MTM Television Distribution" in 1986, now "20th Television". On March 1, 2016, SPT announced to shut down Victory Television after Ashbourne announced to step down to pursue other opportunities.

(Summer 2011-2016)

Victory Television (UK) (2011- )Gogglebox-Victory TV-ws: 2012

Nicknames
: "The Bird", "The Bird of Boredom"

Logo: On a white background, we have the giant 3D red word "VICTORY" with the letter "V" bigger than the rest. The solid red word "TELEVISION" is seen below the word
"VICTORY". There is a black & white bird that flies in from the upper-right hand corner and lands on the letter "O". The bird then looks at us while the byline "a Sony Pictures Entertainment Company" in black fades and wipes in from the left and the bird moves his tail straight down and looks back to the left, looks down a little and looks back up. The bird then quick flies over to the letter "C" and moves his tail upward and remain still. All of the lettering is in Century Gothic font.

Variants:
  • On The Exit List, the logo is still and is underneath the Gogglebox Entertainment logo.
  • From 2012-2013, there is a second bird that flies in from the upper-left hand corner and lands on the letter "T". The bird looks at us just like the first bird. As the first bird quickly flies over to the letter "C", the second bird on the letter "T" flies away.
  • In 2013, a third bird flies in from the upper-left hand corner and lands on the letter "V". Same animation as the other two birds, however, the 3rd bird flies back from the way it came.
  • On December aired episodes of certain TV shows, the logo appears on a snow background with snow on the logo.
  • Below the logo, there is a network logo for either ITV or BBC. A copyright stamp is seen below the logo for BBC aired programs.

FX/SFX: The bird flying, and the SPE byline fading and wiping in at the same time.

Music/Sounds: The theme of the show or none.

Availability: Common. It's seen on Tough Young Teachers, Draw It!, 5 Minutes to a Fortune, the short-lived
The Exit List, and the now-cancelled Celebrity Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?.

Editor's Note: None.
