Logo:
  • Opening: After the credit text "Present A SUMMERISLE FILM RELEASE" fades out, a wooden carving of Nauda's face (the sun god that's worshipped, fades in and slowly zooms in towards the screen, eventually filling it all up before fading out.
  • Closing: The same close-up of Nauda's face is shown when it fades in, and zooms out before fading out again. "A SUMMERISLE FILM RELEASE" then appears before it fades out.

FX/SFX: Nauda zooming in/out.

Music/Sounds: The opening or closing theme of the movie.

Availability: Seen on the "middle version" of UK prints of The Wicker Man.

Editor's Note: The ominous music coupled with the darkness, look of Nauda, and it eventually taking up the whole screen can surely creep people out, but it fits well with the content of the movie.
