Background: Shukovsky English Entertainment is the production company of the Murphy Brown executive producer Joel Shukovsky as well as Murphy Brown creator and executive producer Diane English.

1st Logo
(December 11, 1985-May 18, 1992)
Logo: On a black screen, we see the names "SHUKOVSKY" and "ENGLISH" coming onto the screen with each other as the words finish, we see the logo's company name, followed by a red thunder bolt-like line, which slides from the top of the screen striking a another smaller red line in-between Shukovsky and English, causing the Shukovsky/English name to flash briefly before the words "IN ASSOCIATION WITH" appear below.

FX/SFX: The words
"SHUKOVSKY" and "ENGLISH" coming onto the screen, breaking apart from one another, the red lightning bolt-like line striking another red line, the brief flash of the Shukovsky/English name.

Music/Sounds: Usually the closing theme of whatever show uses this show and on non-Nick @ Nite airings ofMurphy Brown, Charles Kimbrough
is heard saying "Murphy Brown is a Shukovsky-English Production, in association with Warner Bros. Television, and is Distributed by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution."

Availability: Seen on early episodes of Murphy Brown. Previously, when reran on TV Land and the DVD set, the original logo was plastered with the second logo. This was also seen on the short-lived 1985 sitcom Foley Square.

Editor's Note: None.

2nd Logo
(September 21, 1992-May 18, 1998)

Logo: On a black outer space background that shows a quarter of the planet Earth, we see the 3D letters "SEE" animate and take their place in the center. As the "SEE" animates, the color of the shadowing of the letters changes from orange to blue. Below SEE appears the words "SHUKOVSKY ENGLISH ENTERTAINMENT".

FX/SFX: The animation of SEE, the changing of the shadowing's color, the appearance of the words.

Variant: There is also a variant where the background is green instead of black on 1992-94 episodes of Murphy Brown and Love and War.

Music/Sounds: The end theme of whatever show the logo comes on, a generic CBS theme starting in 1994, or Charles Kimbrough's voice over on Murphy Brown
.

Availability: Appeared on the final seasons of Murphy Brown, and plasters the 1st logo on older episodes on most newer prints. The version with the green background also appeared on the sitcom Love and War.

Editor's Note: For a 1992 logo, this looks very modern for the time (especially the green variant).
