New page

Background: Shiny Entertainment was founded in 1993 by David Perry. They are best known for their first and most successful game, Earthworm Jim, followed by several equal games. In 2002 Shiny was acquired by Infogrames and their subsequent games were delivered in worse quality. In 2006 Atari sold Shiny to Foundation 9, which eventually merged it along with The Collective into the new entity called Double Helix Games.

1st Logo
(August 2, 1994-2003)

182px|Playmates/Shiny (1994)

Logo: We see the logo which looks like "ShinY" with the huge gradient ball placed above "i".
