Background: Scholastic Rock, Inc. was a company founded in November 1972 that notably produced Schoolhouse Rock! interstitials for ABC. After producing several series of shorts for the network, Scholastic Rock ended the deal and closed in 1981, but still featured its name in later releases of shorts.
