Background: This was a production company owned by the controversial director John Waters.

(1972-1977)

Saliva Films (1970s-1980s)<embed allowfullscreen="true" height="225" src="http://wikifoundrytools.com/wiki/closinglogos/widget/youtubevideo/11fef2440aa31411c1b5c71e31f9b1c77d75c523" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="270" wmode="transparent"/>

Nicknames: "Saliva Tongues", "Saliva Films Lays On You..."

Logo: On a black background we see the word "SALIVA" (in a pink font where every letter, except for the "I", has a tongue attached to it). The word "FILMS" (in a different font and smaller) is below the word "SALIVA". Then, the words "LAYS ON YOU..." (in white and in a font that looks similar to Arial Black) fade in.

FX/SFX: Only the words fading in. Pretty cheesy even for a '70s logo.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Rare; as there are only three films released by this company, Pink Flamingos, Female Trouble and Desperate Living, those are the best places to look for the logo. However the DVD of Pink Flamingos removes the logo.

Editor's Note: None.
