(1980's)

Editions Rene Chateau (1982)<embed allowfullscreen="true" height="224" src="http://wikifoundrytools.com/wiki/closinglogos/widget/youtubevideo/ace0de77f3aef119a476da8eb9788da9e4099dd5" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="272" wmode="transparent"/>

Logo: On a starfield, we see blue shining. A yellow circle grow and rotates, emitting light. Then it takes the center and red "RENE CHATEAU" moves from the circle, leaving trail. Suddenly the picture changes back to the rotating circle with "DISTRIBUTION" above and the name below. The black panther jumps on it, balances and visibly roars, as the circle almost lies down and continues to sway. Then the panther walks by the circle and freezes in the center. The words flip out and slip to the edge of the circle, sliding to take their places and reading "EDITIONS RENE CHATEAU DISTRIBUTION (star picture)". "PRESENTE" also appears to the right.

Variant: In early years, the logo was also black and white. Later it was redone in much better quality.

FX/SFX: The moving circle, light effects and the panther, a bit choppy, but as the logo is very old, all this look amazing.

Music/Sounds: Part of the intro of Sunrise from "Also sprach Zarathustra, Op. 30", by the composer Richard Strauss.

Availability
: Appeared on French film releases. Old black and white version was saved on early French DVDs, and the remastered animation appeared on newer films, particularly released in 2000's, after the TF1 Video logo.

Editor's Note: None.
