Logo Variations - Sony Pictures Animation

Surf's Up (2007): The completed logo fades into a scene with snowflakes, which is the opening scene of the movie.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (2009): The logo is already formed and is still on a black background.

The Smurfs (2011): The logo is still on a white background. Also seen on the trailer.

Hotel Transylvania (2012) and Hotel Transylvania 2 (2015): After the logo is complete, it's surrounded by mist, segueing into the opening of the movie.

The Smurfs 2 (2013): After the logo is complete, a white Smurf hat falls down onto the "A" in "Animation".

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018): The first movie with the current logo, which also glitches.

The Angry Birds Movie 2 (2019): For some reason, Sony Pictures Animation worked on the sequel but not the first movie. Nevertheless, this film does have a custom variant. After we zoom through the Sony logo, we're in a blue gradient background with red feathers scattered across the floor. Suddenly, the logo falls down, causing the screen to shake briefly and the feathers are sent into the air, before descending slowly until one covers up the screen and transitions to black, before the Rovio Entertainment logo plays.
