Background: This is the production company of Wings and Frasier creators David Angell, Peter Casey and David Lee.

Nickname: "The Letterblocks"

Logo: On a green messy marble background, we see the the words, "GRUB♦STREET", in a blue and green "letterblock" font with the yellow outline around it. The "G" and "T" are much bigger than the rest of the letters. Under it is "PRODUCTIONS" spaced to fit the width of the logo. Below the logo, is the words, "IN ASSOCIATION WITH", in a font similar to the old Subway, Filmways and the 1977-86 Hanna-Barbera in-credit logo.

Variants:
  • On the pilot of Wings, "IN ASSOCIATION WITH" is in the same font as "PRODUCTIONS".
  • On the Frasier episode "Space Quest", the "IN ASSOCIATION WITH" text is omitted.
  • In 2002, the logo was graphically enhanced by having cleaner letters and a new marble background. This can be seen on the last two seasons of Frasier.
  • On original NBC airings of Fraiser and Wings, a modified version of the logo is inside of the split-screen credits. The logo is much smaller (with the background filling the entire frame) with the show's logo and "PRODUCED FOR NBC BY..." above and "IN ASSOCIATION WITH" below.

FX/SFX: None, but starting in January 1992 (which also coincided with Wings' opening title change), the logo shines.

Music/Sounds: No music of its own, but on season 1 of Frasier and pre-1994 episodes of Wings, the end theme finishes over it and NBC used generic music on both shows beginning in 1994.

Availability: Uncommon. Seen on Frasier on Lifetime, Hallmark, DVD and COZI TV since 2017 and Wings on USA, DVD and Antenna TV since 2017.

Editors Note: None.
