Background: Black Rock was a rebranded Climax Racing studio, previously Climax Brighton. It was purchased by Disney in 2006. Under its new name it had produced two games, but then went through layoffs in early 2011, despite the games selling well. Their sequels were canned as well, and the studio was announced to fully close by Disney on June 30, 2011.
