Background
: In 1998, Hasbro bought the remains of Atari Corporation from JTS Storage, forming Atari Interactive. When Infogrames acquired Hasbro Interactive in 2001, the Atari Interactive brand was continued until the parent company decided to fully replace its own logo with those of Atari. In 2008, Infogrames completed the full acquisition of Atari, and a year after, the parent company name was abandoned in favor of the Atari name.

1st Logo
(October 31, 1996)
Atari Interactive (1996)

Logo: On a steel background, we see the familiar Atari tripod logo to the left of the screen. "ATARI" is seen next to it, with "INTERACTIVE" below it, all in gray.

FX/SFX: Just the fade in and out.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability
: Only seen on the MS-DOS port of Tempest 2000. This logo would have appeared on the other Atari Jaguar games that would have been ported to DOS, but were cancelled after Atari was bought by JTS Storage.

Editor's Note: None.

2nd Logo
(October 31, 1999-November 30, 2000)

Atari Interactive (1999)

Nickname: "Partitari", "Hasbro Atari"

Logo: There are blue and red images and particles moving over a colored background. After while, a ghostly image of an Atari logo flashes and then 6 different images appear in grey boxes which move from the right and then vanish in order for the next image to appear. In order the images are Pong, (2 flippers with faces hitting a ball) Centipede, (The face of the Queen Pede from the Centipede 3D remake), Missile Command (The shooter used to shoot missiles, with red lines forming where it has to shoot), Q*Bert (Q*Bert himself), The Next Tetris (Tetris blocks, with red ones falling down and turning) and Glover (Glover kicking his bouncy ball). Then the six images appear all again for a brief second as a ghostly Atari logo flashes behind it in different colors, which ends with the Atari logo (with the same colorful ghostly image behind it, still flashing) and the colors vanishing. A large flash happens and then the entire background turns black. The logo then fades out.

Variant: A shorter version exists, where the beginning starts off, but rather than having images it goes to a ghostly image of the logo, which then becomes solid. The background continues to move and diminishes into the logo.

FX/SFX: All the simple animations.

Music/Sounds: Short electronic entries composed together.

Availability
: Rare, as not many games used this logo (most Hasbro Interactive Atari games used their own variants).
  • The normal version appeared on the Dreamcast version of Centipede (The PlayStation and PC versions use the Hasbro Interactive logo) and the PlayStation version of Glover (replacing the Glover variant of the Hasbro Interactive logo).
  • The short version of the logo appears on the Dreamcast and PC versions of Q*Bert (the next logo appears in the PlayStation version) and Nerf Arena Blast for PC.
  • This logo was also going to be used on the Dreamcast version of Frogger 2: Swampy's Revenge, but it was replaced with the 4th Hasbro Interactive logo instead (It's still viewable in the game's files).

Editor's Note: None.

3rd Logo
(November 30, 1999)
Atari Interactive (1999)

Nickname
: "The Cellar of Boxes", "Hasbro Atari ll"

Logo: A blue tripod is created with the matter particles, surrounded with blue glow and moving to the left. Then it becomes rainbow and background lights up to show the room full of monopoly-like designed boxes. A rainbow spot flies to the right opening blue ATARI, and becoming itself a copyright mark. The logo glows and shuts down.

FX/SFX: Rather simple animation of the logo.

Music/Sounds: Thundering and squeaking are heard.

Availability: Extremely rare. This logo is only seen on the PlayStation version of Q*Bert. The PC and Dreamcast versions of the game both use the previous logo instead.

Editor's Note: None.

4th Logo

Atari (2001)Atari (2003)Atari (2003)Atari (Mission Impossible GBA)

Nickname: "Seven Times Action"

Logo: On a blue, red or black background, we see a giant tripod on the right, even larger than the screen, and it begins to rotate. On each rotation, the word appears and then wipes out on the left. Each of them have a tripod instead of A. These words are: ATTACK, REAL, BLAST, PLAY, ESCAPE, ADDICT, GAME and A@#%!. After this, the giant tripod zooms inside the screen with the name below, and becomes white (Metallic for the black version).

Early Variant:On the PlayStation 2 versions of SplashdownandStuntman, alongside the PC version of Le Mans 24 Hours, the Infogrames logo appears at the beginning, without the armadillo and with "PRESENTS" below it.

Variants:
  • The PlayStation 2 version of Splashdown and MXRider don't have the "A@#%!" word.
  • On Neverwinter Nights and the GBA version of Mission: Impossible – Operation Surma, the logo is still, the BG is white and the tripod and text are black.
  • On Superman: The Man of Steel for Xbox, A still version with a red BG and copyright information appears below the logo. It follows after the next logo plays below.

FX/SFX: Simple, but effective animation.

Music/Sounds: A disco synth followed with sudden crystallized noise.

Availability: Depends on the variation:
  • Blue: Appears on Splashdown, Battle Engine Aquila (Excluding PC version), TransWorld Surf (The GameCube version uses the next logo), Stuntman (The GBA version uses a still version of the next logo) and the PAL PlayStation 2 release of Superman: Shadow of Apokolips.

Atari (2002)Atari (2002)Atari (2003)

Nickname: "Crystal Circles"

Logo: There is a big red ball with a reflection of the tripod over it. The picture zooms out, while concentric circles of glass swirl around the sphere. The red ball appears to be inside of another white ball, with remaining background red or white. Some letters quickly flip and change on the sides of the tripod, which make words (In order, they are Eat, Insane, Habit, Heavy, Chaos, React, Fear, Escape, Race, Real, Fast, Game & Play.) and later the word ATARI comes into below the tripod. The circles slow down before the logo fades.

Variants:
  • There was a short version on Beyblade V-Force: Super Tournament Battle.
  • On the GBA version of Stuntman, the logo is still.
FX/SFX: The animation of the logo.

Music/Sounds: Several noises followed with the computerized voice saying "ATARI".

  • Some late games miss the filling of the tripod - instead, it just appears and zooms out.
