Background: AAC Kids was a children's production division of Alliance Atlantis Communications, Inc.

(1999-2003?)

Nickname: "The AAC Kids Rocket"

Logo: We see a paper-cutout space background filled with stars, meteors, the moon at the bottom right, and Mars below. We also see a black rocket, with the Alliance A logo on top in yellow, and the text stack "AAC KIDS" written below in light blue with the "I" dotted with a yellow star. The rocket lands on Mars and sits there as stars and meteors pass by.

Variants:
  • There is a long version of this logo where the AAC rocket flies like a bee around the moon and bumps into Pluto. This was seen on Hoze Houndz on Family Channel in Canada, along with airings of Connie the Cow outside of the USA.
  • Sometimes the URL "www.allianceatlantis.com" in green is at the bottom.
  • There's a rare version where it starts out with the rocket already on Mars, with the Moon, Pluto, and a green CGI object (possibly a satellite) nearby; the rocket then blasts off from Mars, trailing smoke as the green object flies towards us and off-screen; the smoke fills the background, turning it white before fading to black. This version was seen on I Was a Sixth Grade Alien.
FX/SFX: The star and rocket animations...

Cheesy Factor: ...which look tacky and choppy.

Music/Sounds: Assorted sci-fi and cartoon sound effects (like the classic Hanna-Barbara "whiz/zip" sound in reverse) and a child giggling. In some cases, it's the closing theme of the show or silence.

Availability: Rare. Seen on Season 1 & 2 episodes of Degrassi: The Next Generation on PlutoTV. Also seen on the short-lived cartoon Yvon of the Yukon, season 2 episodes of Shadow Raiders, season 4 episodes of ReBoot, Henry's World, as well as the 90's Disney Channel show The Famous Jett Jackson. It also plastered the Claster Television logo on previous seasons of ReBoot.

Scare Factor: Minimal. It's mostly just annoying.
