Logos That Scare Me

Universal Television w/ 1979-81 music:This logo scares the hell out of me ever since I first heard it. The music was slowed down and had the kettledrum at the final note and it scared me to death. There are other who are scared of this too. Hanna-Barbara "Swirling Star": I am absolutely terrified of this logo! At the end of "The Powerpuff Girls", the music starts playing and it scares me to death! 6 out of 9 found this valuable. Do you?

"Universal Television w/ 1979-81 music:What scared me is HBO Independent Productions. I hated it, especially the "HIP" variant. That "HIP" variation is just hideous!!!!! I thought the logo was going to suck me into the TV, and shock me to death!!!!!! 1 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

Used To Scare Me:Family Home Entertainment Yellow Crayon Board (1983-1993). I remember on my TMNT tape from 1991 that came from BK, it had that logo come on, then it faded out, but the creepy synth music continued with the yellow board as the BKKC and Live Video logos eerily faded in and out back to back. Annoys Me: Sony Pictures logo (present one). The one that comes on after Merv Grffin's shows. They've used it for too long and now it just gets annoying because you already expect it. Not to mntion that it's the same cheap logo (not a change in the FX or music). Logos That Made The Biggest Statement (didn't really "Scare Me"): It had to be Merv Griffin and Viacom. The 1986 Griffin logo that came on afer his show and Jeopardy with the fanfare will surely make them well known with the bombtastic fanfare. Then Viacom, They have their huge V getting all in your face on the TV screen (The Steel and Doom versions), then someone in the background saying "Viacom" (wigga-wigga), making sure they are well known. Next, it would likely be Paramount as they always overdid the fanfare for their logos. They made sure people knew it was a program syndicated or filmed at Paramount with those lovable fanfares from the Blue Mountain, Closet Kille, Split Boxes, and the current CGI mountain. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. "Universal Television w/ 1979-81 music:That old Universal end music is the GRANDADDY of scary end credit theme music lol It scared the hell out of me as a child. Because of the buildup, and then the climax was jolting and jarring. 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

the logo i scare of is viacom v of doom just the theme is like the guy hwo made it was on evil power v is zooming at you but i hate the zooming v i wish the v was not moveing at the time viacom why why did you put the v of doom to the T.V. why

The Disney logo and music scares me too, the one that comes on after some Disney channel cartoons like House of Mouse. I hate it, it's so disturbing and jarring.

I can tell you, the 20th Century Fox Television "Searchlights" logos scare the pure hell outta me, even the jingles still scare me even to this day and beyond. The reason for such is that the word "TELEVISION" quickly zooms out towards the tower behind it as well as the accompanying jingle, depending on the logo, is also jarring to a nightmare as I would be sucked imaginarily toward the logo.

The scariest logos EVER in my opinion are:Thames Video 90's - the scariest logo ever, with the darkness, merging, and don't mention the music! VID (Russia) - The Russian Nightmare is also very scary. That horrific glaring mask complete with that DUM DEE DUM DEE DUM! music is far too scary for children! I wouldn't be surprised if Pole Chudes was their favourite programme! 2nd Barney Home Video logo - the sparks flying when the Barney word appears complete with the sudden zoom out of the yellow star makes me scream to death! As WizardDuck said, Barney's grin adds to the scariness! So there you have it! 2 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

Used to scare me...somewhat:- Stone-Stanley Productions [1991-1999. "Legends of the Hidden Temple" variant] (The loud "HMMMMMM" caught me off guard a few times. Back then, it was about a Low to Medium for me) - Aniplex [2005-Present] (I found the robotic voice saying "Aniplex" to be a little unsettling at first, but then Fullmetal Alchemist got creepier, making this logo seem tame) Annoys me: - Media Blasters (The logo looks so low budget for such a recent logo) 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Logos that scare my children: KC SSF: What is this stuff? Why can't we have a Yellow EVIL Face on a purple background as he is saying "KLASKY CSUPO!" with laughing children in a REALLY AWFUL WAY? My young daughter was scared of it when she was 4! VID: This creepy-looking mask is so UGGGGGGGGGGGGLYYYYYYY! It might look so ANGRY! Snee Oosh Totem Bird: This Bird looks Deadly Awful! Along with the voices: "Sneeeeeeeeeeeeeee oooooooooooooosh!" and afterwards a gong and a flute (My 4th grade daughter, sophia learning the flute!)!! YTV Screaming TV: Whaaat?!?!? The logo letters are expanding and starting to scream: "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaa-pow!". Do you find this valuable? |
