Audio Variants

The familiar fanfare that you hear during the 20th Century Fox logo on some films sometimes lasts longer and has more crescendos than other films. Does anyone know if this signifies something special about the film, or if it's just a different orchestration that happened to be in use at the time the movie was released? Do you find this valuable?

I'm guessing this is a judgment call on TCF's part for each individual movie. Some films such as SILVER STREAK and WORKING GIRL have a completely silent logo. There are two variations for BILL COSBY-HIMSELF. One is silent, with no music for the title scene, and the other has the short (non-Cinemascope) fanfare, with music for the opening credits. There seems to be no real rhyme or reason to these variations, although I could very well be wrong. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
