2. early Japanese Pioneer laserdisc theme tunes. Very light, spacey, and cute little dittys. :)
1. The MCA Discovision test logo. Even if the animation was lame, they still should have used this on production CED discs. It really is an incredible tune, sounding like something from a western. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

My top ten logo themes:

1. Screen Gems "Dancing Sticks" music. I love how it starts super-dramatic, then turns jaunty at the end.

2. Screen Geme "S From Hell". The music fits in perfectly with the psychedelic sixties it originated in, particularly at the end of THE MONKEES eps.

3. The Revue/Universal fanfare. An alltime fave, especially the elongated one used in the early 1960's eps of ALFRED HITCHCOCK PRESENTS.

4. The early Lorimar logo theme. The Fender Rhodes arpeggio makes it the friendliest logo music ever.

5. The original TriStar fanfare. Gotta love those closing BU-BU-BU-BU-BUMPs!

6. The original 20th Century Fox fanfare. I like the military style way it's played, though my favorite is still Ron Goodwin's vaudeville version used in THOSE MAGNIFICENT MEN IN THEIR FLYING MACHINES.

7. AKA Cartoon theme. Patrick Caird's music sounds like a car crash set to avant garde jazz. Nice!

8. The MCA 'trilon' fanfare. That three-note horn blast is really doomy! Sounds like a horde of huns or orks ready to attack. Well done.

9. Four D Productions music (BARNEY MILLER). Another friendly sounding logo jingle, particularly with the bells used when the four d's pop up.

10. The latest Warner Home Video piano music. More sedate logo music, nicely done.
