Has anyone seen these logos?
Sep 26 2008, 11:27 AM EDT
I saw (or at least thought I saw) several logos not on the site. 1. First is Hollywood Pictures Television. It looks like the standard logo of Hollywood Pictures, but has Television under it. The music is the intro to the Hollywood Pictures theme. 2. Savoy Pictures Television. I have seen this on 1995's A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes: The Annette Funicello Story. The logo has on of the buffalo running on TV. The camera zooms back and we see Savoy Pictures Televsion underneath. Music is the stomping of the buffalo, a neigh sound and ending with a ching noise. 3. An ULTRA RARE United Artists logo. It's a still logo. It has the words "United Artists" in the font like in the 1975 "T" logo. Seen on the 1982 VHS release of The Return of a Man Called Horse. 4. 1986-87 New Line Cinema logo. It's a still of the box and filmstrips logo with glows around the logo and company name. Found on original VHS releases of Quiet Cool and My Demon Lover. I have a couple of these logos, and a couple I have seen. Has anyone seen these? 13 out of 14 found this valuable. Do you?

"Yes,I saw the last two ones. Also the NLC logo appears on the Original "Hairspray" movie."You saw the very rare UA logo? Was it on the tape I said? Where did you see it? I don't mean the regular 1987 logo. I'm talking about the still version of it. Do you find this valuable? |

"You saw the very rare UA logo? Was it on the tape I said? Where did you see it?Sorry, I just thought you meant that because on TV broadcasts of Hairspray, I see the regular '87 logo. My bad. Tell me, it was on Hairspray. What was it on? Was it an old video you have? Did you see it on TV? What? Do you find this valuable? |

"I saw (or at least thought I saw) several logos not on the site.Sorry, but these logos are completely new for me. Well, I remember a rare logo never seen before on TV: - CBS Enterprises: This is mainly an extended variant of the later CBS Broadcast International logo, except "Enterprises" fades in below the logo instead of "Broadcast International" on a forgotten TV show aired on Hallmark Channel various years ago. Thank you for this interesting discussion about rarest logos on TV. V of Doom/DoomRaeMoon Fitzgerald M. Do you find this valuable? |

Well, I hope you'll keep an eye out anyway. They may not be as big as the 76 CPT Coca-Cola logo, but it'll still be an interesting find, right?

More rare logos here...-Revolution Television: This is mainly a still variant of the movie logo, except "TELEVISION" is seen below instead of "STUDIOS". I saw this on TV from the 2004 TV movie "Samantha: An American Girl Holiday" recently. I'm not sure if this variant also appeared on the remaining American Girl movies. More rare/unknown/forgotten logos soon... V of Doom/DoomRaeMoon Fitzgerald M. Do you find this valuable? |

Hopefully, one rarity that will make it here is the horizontal ITC logo that was seen on THE GALE STORM SHOW and JEFF'S COLLIE.

No mention of the rarest of them all, the one so rare it may just be a figment of some of our imaginations? For the answer, should I give you a Coke and a smile? ;-) ;-) ;-) Do you find this valuable? |

13. HOLLYWOOD Pictures Television???
Sep 20 2009, 4:19 PM EDT
Sorry to burst your bubble there, but I'm afraid they never created a TV division for Hollywood Pictures. That's something I wouldn't miss, even as rare as it may be. Anyone can attempt to correct if they have seen evidence to the contrary.Always Watching, D.L. CHANDELL The DLC Organization Do you find this valuable? |

Fuzzy Memories has answered my desires. The VSD is availiable there. I forgot how amazing it was. And it was such a refreshing change from the regular VOD in the 80s
