Availabilty of 1989 Castle Rock logo
Sep 8 2008, 10:36 AM EDT
I want to talk about the availability of the 1989 Castle Rock logo. It usually can be seen in movies of the time. But sometimes, I have seen in plastered. On the 2001 DVD release of City Slickers (1991), the MGM logo replaces it. And on Comedy Central prints of the movie, they used an edited version of the 1981 Columbia logo, then went to an edited version of the 1994 logo. However, you can see it most of the time, I think. I am not sure if this logo is kept on the 2008 DVD release of City Slickers, and if it is, let me know. Now onto logo combos, the one with the Columbia 80s Torch Lady. For the most part, on Nelson and New Line releases, the Columbia logo is edited out, but keeps the original Castle Rock logo. The combo can be seen on VHS and DVD releases of A Few Good Men. And you can usually see the combo on TV Broadcast of Castle Rock movies. Do you find this valuable?

I wish could get the dvd and put on WMM and remove the MGM logos at beginning and end and at the beginning, i could replace the MGM logo with the Columbia/Nelson Ent./Castle Rock logos. At the end, i could remove the MGM logo and replace it with the WBTV Distribution and CTTD Distribution logos. Which is cool because Warner Bros. owns post-1994 Castle Rock films and Sony Pictures TV owns the Seinfeld television show. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
