On a few old VHS tapes of mine, there is a still version with blue shading around the text and the Box/Filmstrips logo. These can be seen on films like Quiet Cool, Nightmare on Elm Street 3, and My Demon Lover. All of which I own. Don't know if they are on the Quiet Cool or NOES 3 DVDs and My Demon Lover is not on DVD at all. It can also be seen at the beginning of the Critters 2 trailer. I don't own the 1988 Hairspray, but I found a link where this logo claims to be from. The 1987 film, The Hidden was one of the first to include the Box/Filmstrips logo as it is on my 1988 Media VHS.
