i remember as a baby seeing this logo and remembering the music for years until i seen it again in '99 and then now.have to admit seeing it when i was a baby was very weird, and it does creep me out in a very weird way. the "comets" looked to me like creepy cables shorting out when they hit, which made me grow up to be obsessed with electricty.

Same here. So many people say that this is their favorite logo, but to me it's sorta creepy.

I also saw this logo after the closing credits on "Freddie's Nightamres" from the 1st season and on the short-lived NBC Dramedy "Our House" (1986-88) with Wilford Brimley.This also originally appeared on the NBC broadcasts of the 2nd and 3rd seasons of "The Hogan Family" when it was originally titled "Valerie" and "Valerie's Family" respectively. And maybe also on "She's the Sheriff" (1987-89) as well. Do you find this valuable? |

It never scared me, but the beginning did startle me. At least it end quietly. I definitely perfer the original Lorimar logo, with that nice, friendly Fender Rhodes arpeggio playing behind it.
