MGM Logo (1924-Present) Scare Factor for Me: Nightmare!
Dear God! I hate that logo so much! It scared me forever and Haunted me for Life and still does! The Roar Doesn't even sound like a Lion. His roar is so loud and obnoxious, He barely Roared my Soul Out!

Viacom Wigga wigga logo (1990-1998) Scare Factor for Me: Nightmare (Younger) Low (Now)
This used to scare me when I was younger after watching I love Lucy on Nick at Nite and I had bad dreams when I was a kid. Thank god I'm older and it looks like it Doesn't seemed so scary anymore. It's Barely Harmless.

The Program Exchange CGI Crossing Arrows (1987-2008) Scare factor foe me: High (Younger) Low (Now)
The Dreamy music was very creepy back when I was younger after Garfield and Friends. But now, It doesn't quite scare me anymore either. It's Also Harmless.

The 20th Century Fox TV logos of the 1960s to 1992 still scare the hell outta me as of right now (Sa11.04.2009) due to the jingle/zoom-out combinations. Do you find this valuable?

The WDHV International 1981 logo, the Paramount Home Video "Mountain Silhouette" logo from 1979, and the Klaspy Csupo(I probably spelled it wrong) "SSF" scare me. Do you find this valuable?

Well I'm a new member and I never really get to talk about my true fears with logos , which is why I love this site. Here are my scariest logo picks as well as some of my biggest fears!
1. PARAMOUNT 1988 Feature Presentation Logo: My biggest fear today. As a kid I watched "top gun" when all of a sudden, "here are coming attractions from paramount." then the creepy part came in, "DUMDUMDUMDUMDAAAAAAA-"

-silence

Holy god!!! I get shivers just writing about it. But I had been aware of my fear of it from early on when I watched it on "the Rugrats Movie." This logo will forever frighten me, and it still does today!! I have to hide all of my paramount movies until I want to watch them!! Some of them actually start right off the back with the feature presentation logo! These include Forrest Gump, Wayne's World, and Coming to America.

2. Walt Disney Home Video Feature Presentation (1989-1997[i think])

As a kid, disney movies were mostly what I watched. Each video had the jarring and frightening and loud fanfare with the purple background and the CREEEPY ass writing as the announcer said in a sinister declaration "and now our feature
presentation."

-straight black

Part of my nightmares as a kid would go like this: I would be watching my video when all of a sudden it would end, and as I shut everything off, it would come back on and play the disney fanfare, and I wouldn't be able to shut it off. Talk about long term affects.

There are many versions of this. There's one in "Homeward Bound" which really gets me! It's blue!!!!!!!! EHWWHWHEHW.
There's the gray one in "Ducktales: The Movie" which is scarier because it's louder and faster. "ANDNOWFOROURFEATUREPRESENTATION" This is scarier because it give u more time to hear it!

Scary! Check it out!

Toots Productions - Snowglobe of Doom (1991-late '90s?) STILL DOES
Lorimar-Telepictures - Comets and Streaks - LOVE IT NOW
Vid - The Russian Mask logo - DEAR GOD HELP ME!
Paramount Television (Closet Killer and Blue Mountain) - LOVE THE FORMER! Sometimes for the latter.
Universal Television (1960s-91 logos) - USED TO ALL OF THEM, except the ones that followed after the MARK VII Logo (i.e., Dragnet, Adam-12, Emergency!, O'Hara U.S. Treasury, etc.)
MARK VII Productions - The Hammer doesn't get me as much as it did as a kid, but the "Shocking Gold" version still gets me the creeps to this day at times.

More annoying than dog-crap:

CBS-Paramount (especially on DVD's)

Sony Pictures Television "Shiny Bars of Boredom" - Which is more annoying? The Columbia-Tristar Television "Boxes of Boredom" logo or the Sony Pictures Television "Shiny Bars of Boredom" logo? This logo by itself is fine for all the current shows they produced and/or owned as of 2003. But when it plasters over every older logo (i.e. The Columbia Pictures Television "Torch Ladies"), then this logo gets really annoying

Paramount Television CGI Mountain, especially the Viacom bylined version

Columbia-Tristar "Boxes of Boredom" logo - see Sony Pictures Television above.

Incredible World of Dic - UGH! The music alone gives my head 12 dozen doses of migraine headaches. Even worse is they even plaster a majority of shows that have the Dic "Kid in Bed" logo as well the customized DiC logos on shows like "Inspector Gadget."

Viacom "Wigga-Wigga" - This logo is both annoying, but simultaneously mildly creepy at times.

Hanna-Barbera "Comedy All-Stars" - I disliked this one from day one. Cute and charming as this logo is, this logo can be pretty tepid after a few doses of watching this logo.
