Hello,

I was actually under the impression, from my own findings, that the space logo was used from 1980 up to about 1987. I found the "scrolling" logo on the 1988 film "Camille Claudel" on Encore Love. Also, the synthesized music was still in use in 1991, because it was on "My Mother's Castle" (albeit under the Orion Classics logo on the old U.S. print).

I have no idea where the bizarre hybrid with the 1995 music comes from.

I still think that the logo currently labeled 1985 was used starting in 1980, and the one currently labeled 1980 started in either 1987 or 1988.

Then again, this requires more research (and since Gaumont plasters at least some of its movies in France, that may be hard to do). 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
