The 8th logo had the remix of the 6th Logo.
I found this here on Youtube:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0QOGqlwga0A All I remember is American Movie Classics used this logo on the colorized version of the 1943 Phantom of the Opera.

Mama
I just got back from seeing Mama (the first Universal Pictures film released this year), and it used the logo with the "100TH ANNIVERSARY" wording. Guess the version without it will debut on Identity Thief.

Cartoon variation on 8th logo
The "Universal Presents" version of the 8th logo appears on all Walter Lantz cartoons from the early 1960's on; usually backed by the opening bars of the Woody Woodpecker theme or other title music; on the last few seasons of Lantz cartoons (about 1970 thru 72) it had its own fanfare ahead of the title theme. This fanfare was written by Lantz's musical director Walter Greene and appears only on the cartoons.

Music/Sounds: The previous logo's fanfare, originally composed by Jerry Goldsmith, in a powerful new re-orchestration by Brian Tyler, accompanied by "a choir, new string parts and drum cadence utilizing world percussion instruments," according to the Hollywood Reporter. On the 100th Anniversary logo variant, in the logo montage, "One Last Wish" from Casper is used as a fanfare. On some films, such as Battleship and American Reunion, the opening theme plays.

Anniversary logos...
So I've done the math and I see that while there 75th anniversary was for the full establishment of the company (1990-75=1915) , the 100th anniversary is for the actual founding (1912). :/ Does that sound kinda messed up to anyone else? I mean, to keep things consistent they should have either had the 75th anniversary in 1987 or the 100th in 2015! Or maybe I've just got OCD...
