It says the 2008 three-roar version appears on certain teasers. What teasers is the logo on?

I found, completely by accident, the new MGM logo off its designer's (Shine) webpage. Here's the link...

The New Logo
i noticed something about the new logo, i think it's a homage to the way it used to look during the Tanner/Jackie year's because i noticed that the ribbons are shorter than the way it used to look, that's probably why the logo looks small for Leo

Lion without Roar?
On the 1961 film "Atlantis the Lost Continent", found here at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCUsOQMK4K8&feature=related, it sounds like there is no roar heard from the lion, or if there is, the orchestral opening covers it up. Was this possibly the same practice that was used with the MGM TV logo in the early 60s? (the creepy brass and drum piece used in place of the roar?)

MGM logo on 21 Jump Street
21 Jump Street comes out today. If anyone here has seen it, can you please tell me what the MGM logo is like? Does it have the 1995 roar? Does it have "MGM" below or is it the URL-less version like it's seen on the trailer?

"Zookeeper" and "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo"
Who has "Zookeeper" on DVD or has seen "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo"? Is the new MGM print logo seen at the end with additional information or no?

GI: Joe Retaliation/ New MGM Logo?
So, on the Super Bowl spot for this film (excluding the other logos in said spot), there was the ribboning, the lion, and "MGM" in large letters. Is this a new logo for MGM?

request for photos
Could someone find photos for the regular logo without the MGM/UA Communications byline, the 70th anniversary logo and the 1995 logo (with the URL)?

A word of warning
To any user editing this site: Do NOT mix legitimate edits with vandalism in the same edit, or The Man will be liable to revert the good along with the bad (as demonstrated last night), and I don't blame him, seeing that he's the CEO. Of course, even if it was within my capacity to blame The Man for reverting important info about MGM (which it isn't), I won't. In fact, if your legitimate edit gets reverted due to a revert system that doesn't give the higher-ups the ability to discern honest editing from vandalism (I'm talking to you, MartinVB!), you have no one to blame but yourself.

Jackie...in color?
It should be mentioned that the "color version" of the second MGM logo is actually a colorized version of the original black-and-white logo. Jackie, to my knowledge, was never filmed in color. The videos on YouTube were most likely lifted from any of Ted Turner's crayoned defecations of classic MGM b/w films he created for TV and video in the '80s. The "color variant" is "ultra rare" because you can hardly see colorized films on TV anymore, especially those made by MGM.

Coffee, you are loveable
Coffee is my favorite lion, he's loveable, I love his roar, but that long version, it may be jittering, but Coffee is my favorite, I want him back! Anyone agree?

New MGM logo?
I'm not sure if MGM is using this for movies or the MGM channel, but check out this website.

Colorized version of 8th logo!
There is a colorized version of the 1957 MGM logo that only appears on Elvis Presley's third film "Jailhouse Rock", but may appear on other black-and-white films during this era that have been colorized.

Sayonara
The DVD release of "Sayonara" does not have the 1987 MGM logo, just the 1948 Warner Bros. Pictures logo.

On posters for a few MGM films...
Starting in 1977, I think, they started putting the United Artists Transamerica print logo next to the MGM "Stylized Lion" (which they were using as their print logo at the time) on the film posters for MGM films all the way up to late '81-early '82 (by this point it only showed the words United Artists, since that was after Transamerica sold it off). MGM and United Artists weren't "together" back in the late 70s, and there is no evidence of any other company releasing the film along with MGM (like on "Fame", it just has the 1958 MGM logo and even "MGM presents", confirming that it's not a plaster job). Anyone know what's up? (go to wikipedia, you'll find the images I'm talking about there.)
