20th Century Fox logo on Suspiria?
I know it appears on the TV print FMC aired and on early home video prints, but I heard the DVD releases don't have it at all. Can anyone conform this?

Look what I've found!

It's the header of the "Scarce Specimen certificate from the Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation". It's a possible rare variation of the logo. Tell me what you think.

The possible origins of the logo's design.
Hey guys, I'm here to tell you about the origins of the logo's design.
As you may not know, I think that the "Circular stage-like structure" at the base of the stack is possibly designed as a futuristic city. The overall logo design also was part of a logo design trend involving searchlights. No wonder this is the only surviving example of 30's-40's logo design, albeit modified. Well, that's it. See you later! -wpl93 / Also don't forget to discuss this issue.

Nosferatu The Vampire (1979)
I know 20th Century Fox distributed the English-dubbed version of the film in the states. And the Anchor Bay region 1 DVDs have both the German & English languege versions of mentioned film. So getting to the question, does the 1953 Fox logo appear on the USA version on the Anchor Bay DVD(s)?
Any info is appreciated!

Edit Music/Sounds Variants on the 3rd 20th Century Fox logo
Music/Sounds Variants:
On some films, such as The Flamingo Kid and Porkys II: The Next Day, the 1935-1979 fanfare is heard. Some prints of pre-1981 films, such as Thunder & Lightning, may be plastered with the '81 logo but may keep their original fanfare or use the 1979 variant; or in some cases may be silent, like on Hardly Working. In 1983, a slightly modified 1980 recording, as played by the London Symphony Orchestra and conductor John Williams, was used on Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. On the DVD release of Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure, the 1997 orchestration is heard. On the 1986 remake of The Fly, the abridged remix of the 1953-66 CinemaScope fanfare is surprisingly heard. On current prints of A Change of Seasons, both the 1935 and '81 fanfares are played together with the '81 logo. This is likely due to a error when the the '53 logo was plastered over. On Wizards, the logo is out of sync with the 1981 fanfare. On current prints of 1935's Les Miserables, the 1935 20th Century Pictures fanfare is heard (along with the logo being in black & white as the variant mentioned above) On current prints of The Verdict, It has a short, slowed-down version of the 1994 fanfare. On The Exorcist III, A different re-arrangement of the long version of 20th Century Fox fanfare is heard.

I just realized something...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEjAxhr82CI
Listen to the main title opening of "The War of the Roses". David Newman re-recorded this 20th century FOX back around the 1980s, before he re-recorded the FOX fanfare back in 1997. The only other flim that they used the FOX fanfare from "The War of the Roses" was "Class Action".

Add it on 1994-2010 Closing Variant.
After the credits scrolls down, the post-1987 print logo is seen. Only seen on Death Sentence (2007)!

Independence Day in 3d
Is anyone gonna go see Independence Day in 3D in 2013? Because TMC's HD print contained the 5th logo and the '94 fanfare, and I think I have a sneaky feeling that it might happen on the 3d print IF it happens... Oh god...

I've got a sneaking suspicion...
That because News Corporation is splitting in two (with Fox being a separate company to the newspaper division), I expect either a byline-less version of the 2009 logo or a new byline underneath. It will be very interesting to see if their is a change to the logo when Ice Age 4 is released next week.

1950s fanfare on the 2009 20th Century FOX logo?
In 2015, the 1950s fanfare might be on the 2009 20th Century Fox logo on Star Wars Episode 4 in 3D.

I have one question for you
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJUnKN0KLj0&list=UUD2B9oFNhIXSImxerIQGI6w&index=1&feature=plcp
Just watch this video and see if you think that 20th Century FOX just doesn't give a crap about bringing back the 1994 fanfare that was recorded by Bruce Borughton.

I JUST CAN'T HELP IT!
Sorry guys. I just can't help it, but do you think FOX doesn't really care about bringing back the 1994 arrangement of the 20th Century Fox fanfare?
