So, was CPTD actually used until 1996?
In light of the fact that Columbia Pictures Television Distribution was apparently renamed to Columbia TriStar Television Distribution in February 1994, it doesn't really make sense that the CPTD name was used on the 5th logo here until 1996. Should it be changed, or did Sony actually keep using this logo by mistake?

Columbia Night at the Movies
Wasn't there a similar thing to this that was on when I was a boy known as "Columbia Night at the Movies"? IIRC, it started with the 80s TL, and as the Torch opened up (blossomed), lightning struck the Sunburst (or was there a flash?), and the TL zoomed out and down. That's about all I remember of it.

Tristar?
Didn't Tri-Star also have a showcase theater brand, too? Or did i just imagine it?
I could've sworn there was one on this site a long while back and their logo was from like 1991 or 1993 or so and was on TV.

Is this a facsimile? The titles looks a little... manufactured.

"Designing Women"
Just started with the #1 DVD release of this from Shout!, and I was wondering: why is it that it is a grab bag WRT the CPT logos on this? I've seen 4 outings thus far, and the first one had the Coke Lady, the next two had the 90s TL, and the fourth one had the CPE Torch Lady.
