The name of the company
I've always wondered, why did they have "Paramount" in their name for three years when it wasn't affiliated with Paramount Pictures anymore. It would have been simpler to just continue using the CBS Productions name.

Actually, I think I can see a shooting star in the backround. I have heard a star is a symbol of Paramount.

When I was watching CSI and Criminal Minds (I don't remember where but it was not CBS) the closing theme didn't play over this logo.

1997 CBS Productions Logo
I was watching a LiveVideo Video (in its own page) of the closing logos of "Frosty Returns" from a 2000's rebroadcast and I've seen the late 90's original version of the '97 CBS logo instead of the current one! An it followed the 2002 Classic Media Logo! Is it an error of broadcast or what?

I know where did the version without the light came from!
I don't know what do you think about it, but the current version of the 1997-2006 CBS Productions logo without the flash of light would probably came around 1999 or so. I remember when I've seen some "Early Edition" episodes on YouTube, so, I think that variation came from 1999. What do you think?
