20th Century Fox Logo Variations
Did you know there are more variations on the 1994 and 2009 20th Century Fox logos?
1. The 1994 20th Century Fox logo zooms out furthur than usual on the John Hughes remake of "Miracle on 34th Street", fullscreen versions of "Alien: Resurrection" and "Men of Honor", and trailers for "Trapped in Paradise", "Joy Ride", "Taxi", "Because of Winn-Dixie" and the 2003 remake of the 1950 film "Cheaper by the Dozen".
2. A close-up version of the 1994 20th Century Fox logo - which was only seen on trailers for "Stuck on You", "In Her Shoes", "Stay" and "Predators".
3. The 2009 20th Century Fox logo zooms in further than usual on the TV spot for "Date Night", the cell phone TV spot for "Gulliver's Travels" and the trailer for "X-Men: First Class".

* Captain January (1936): Has the 1935 20th logo, but I don't have it indeed, is this on DVD? :(

More 20th Century Fox Variations
Anastasia (1997): The logo is skinny and the hangar note appears in the end of the logo. This is the first release to use the 1997 fanfare.
Gulliver's Travels (2010): The logo is abruptly interrupted by jarring clips from the same positions. Seen on the trailer. On the cellphone TV Spot, The thunderstorm hits the structure.
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010): On the first official public trailer, the logo looks peach-ish, just like Gulliver's Travels.
The Beach House (1978): A lightning bolt hits the structure.
The Art of Seduction (1984): The Fox logo, as normal, but surrounded by Chicago's skyline. It only appeared on trailers for the film.
X-Men 1.5 (2003): The 1994 logo is light blue, wired, and in 3D. Only appeared before the DVD Menu.
The A-Team (2010): The 2010 Logo has a special golden tint.

Edit on 4th Fox Video logo
Nicknames: "CGI Searchlights II", "Fox Structure IV"
Logo: We begin by panning across the Los Angeles skyline at around sunset. We see a spotlight and then pan across the "FOX VIDEO" structure, now redone so that it looks a lot better. We zoom out until we reach the comfortable Fox logo distance.
FX/SFX: The computer animation, which is now a variation of the Fox Searchlight animation.
Availability: Uncommon; this logo always came after the logo below. Seen on releases of the era such as Die Hard: With a Vengeance, Broken Arrow, Independence Day, Jingle All the Way, Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie, Goosebumps: The Haunted Mask, Short Circuit, the 1996 VHS of The Sound of Music, and the 1997 Star Wars Trilogy box set. Seen on all VHS tapes of the "Selections" series of 20th Century Fox films. The "original" Star Wars Trilogy Special Edition VHS in Canada (at least), as well as the widescreen edition of the "original" Star Wars Trilogy Special Edition VHS, featured both this logo and the 1995-2006 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment logo. Look for a screencap of this logo (some using the 1991 print logo!) used on the packaging. One of the last releases to use this were very early prints of Anastasia. Strangely, this logo can be also found on Netflix's print of Love Is a Many-Splendored Thing.
Scare Factor: None to minimal; harmless logo, not ugly at all this time.

Add even more variations.
Love Is a Many-Splendored Thing (1955): We start out with the 1995 home entertainment logo, then the 1995 Fox Video logo, and finally the 1953 logo. Only on the 1996 DVD. on the trailer for the film, the 1981 logo is used instead of the 1953 logo.
Anastasia (1997): The logo is skinny, and the fanfare ends with a hangar note. this is the first film to use the 1997 fanfare.
Would you post these variations soon, please?

Add More Variations
Futurama (2001): On the episode "That's Lobstertainment", There's a rare variation of the 20th Century Fox logo at Hollywood (and Correction on the real life on earth in the 20th century, There's no 20th Century Fox structure on hollywood) The Structure is gold and reads "30th CENTURY FOX". Also, one of the searchlights causes a plane to crash.
The Simpsons (2010): On the epsode "BARTMoney", There's another rare variation of the 20th Century Fox logo, The logo appears carved out of stone, filled with japanese animators. Also, the blue/pink gadient background with stars is used.
X-Men: First Class (2011): Exactly the same as the "Aliens" and "Down with Love" variants.
Braveheart (1995, Non-US Version): the 1994 20th Century Fox fanfare cannot be heard during the 1994 logo.
The Legend of Bagger Vance (2000, US Version): Exactly the same as the Non-US version of Braveheart.
Avatar (2009): The 1994 logo plays, but it's redone and more realistic; this time, it is put on a dark/orange evening environment. we can also see an extra searchlight and a pair of palm trees on the bottom right hand corner. This was also the first film to use the 2009 logo.
Deadfall (1968): The 1935 logo is used.
Star! (1968): Exactly like the "Wee Willie Winkie" variant.
Rio (2011): On the second trailer, the 2009 logo is a bit bright.
Cedar Rapids (2011, Fox Searchlight Pictures): the 1995 logo plays, but it's redone and more realistic; this time, it is put on a dark/orange evening environment. Like the current 20th Century Fox Logo, we can see a pair of palm trees on the bottom right hand corner. This was also the first film to use the 2011 logo.
Another Earth (2011, Fox Searchlight Pictures): the 2011 logo overlaps with the same thing in another position. Seen on the trailer.

Add Another Variation.
I don't think we should count that as that's not a variation but a parody. 20th Century Fox had nothing to do with this film.

Did I see the New Variation?
So, on the 2nd Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie, the 5th logo starts out normally, but when the byline appears, it transforms into the paper sheet drawing, then the camera pans down. So, post the New Varation in Logo Variations - 20th Century Fox Film Corporation.

CBS FOX variants
Do you know there are more variations on the CBS FOX Video logo?
The variations I'd spotted are:
1. A green-tint version - which was seen on the 1980's tape "Fox & Eggfox"
2. A silent version was found on the 1990's print of the tape "The Sound of Music".
3. A version in which the film's complete original opening music and title music played over the CBS FOX Video logo and reissue titles. This is from the tape "Crumply Pie".
4. A few shorts had a few seconds of an unidentified piece of music playing in the logo, which was heard before the film's theme came in. I'd seen this on the tapes "CBS FOX Has to Leave" and "CBS FOX Has a Hero".
