Note: This is the logo of David Letterman's production company.

1st Logo
(1993-)(1993-2009)
Worldwide Pants Inc. - CLG Wiki Worldwide Pants Incorporated

Nickname: "The Pants", "Pants in Space"

Logo: On a space background, we see:

WORLDWIDE
PANTS
INCORPORATED

which appear to be made out of steel. A revolving planet Earth forms the "O" in "Worldwide", and a pair of brown pants form the "A" in "Pants", and the word "Incorporated" is carved out of a block of steel.

Variant: Wikipedia mentions a more elaborate version of this logo preceding 1990's A&E reruns of "Late Night with David Letterman", the predecessor of "Late Night with Conan O' Brien" that aired from 1982 to 1993 on NBC. It has not been seen since and not much is known about it.

FX: The planet revolving.

Music/Sounds: Just the end theme of the show, however on The Late Show, it's usually a line somehow relevant to pants (like "Nice pants, Pepe!", "Mmmm, deep-dish pants", "Did you say pants?") or sometimes something that has nothing to do with pants (like That's damn good mayo," "I hate bread" and "Nice Shoes, Big Shot!).

AvailaibilityAvailability: CurrentlyRetired canas beof seen2009. Appeared on Late Show with David Letterman, The Late Late Show with Craig FergusonTom andSnyder/Craig rerunsKilborn/Craig ofFerguson, Everybody Loves Raymond and Ed. ItWhen Craig Ferguson's show alsowent appearedHD on Ed.August 31, 2009, this logo was retired for good, as the most recent syndie reruns of Raymond have plastered over this logo with the next one.

Scare Factor: None; it's a pretty funny logo.

2nd Logo
(2007- )

NicknameNicknames: "CGI Pants", "HD Pants"

Logo: Same as before, except the starfield is zooming with comets flying by and the planet is still.

FX: The starfield and comets.

Cheesy Factor: Everything appears to be a downgrade from before; the space background is choppily animated and the Worldwide Pants logo looks tacked onto it.

Music/Sounds: Same as logo 1.

AvailaibilityAvailability: Can be seen on recent episodes of The Late Show with David Letterman, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and the most recent syndicated prints of Everybody Loves Raymond.

Scare Factor: None.
