Background: This is a game division of Warner Bros., founded in 1995, and was the successor to Warner Bros. Consumer Products. Its first game was Batman Forever, which was released for SNES, Sega Genesis, Game Boy, Game Gear, and PC.

1st Logo

Nicknames: "WB Shield", "WB Crest", "Metallic Shield"

Logo: On a black (or white) background, we see a metallic shield (also called a crest), and inside is "WB" appearing as seen on most Warner movie logos. Over the shield is a banner that reads "INTERACTIVE ENTERTAINMENT". In the logo, seven little sparks are seen on the shield. Sometimes, "Under License by" appears above, along with its copyright information below.

Variants:
  • On Space Jam, the background is outer space. Plus, it zooms away causing the Acclaim and Sculptured Software logos to appear.
  • There is an animated version in which the logo zooms in on The Flintstones Bedrock Bowling. Also, the banner is big. On Batman: Gotham City Racer for PlayStation, the banner is normal.
  • On Game Boy Color games, the copyright info sometimes appears below.
  • There is a black and white variation on Batman Forever for Game Boy.
  • On the PlayStation version of Batman & Robin, the Batman logo turns into the WB Interactive Entertainment shield in blue, and in the background, smokey clouds are seen on the shield. Then it turns into the DC logo, the Acclaim logo, and then the Probe logo.
  • On Batman Forever: The Arcade Game, the logo is in blue on a dark blue background. Then it fades to the DC logo, the Acclaim logo, and of course, the Iguana Entertainment logo.
  • On Tom and Jerry for Game Boy Color, the WB Interactive Entertainment logo looks ugly. There is one spark on the "W" in "WB".
  • Also, on Tom and Jerry in Mouse Attacks! for Game Boy Color, the logo appears cutting out to a gray screen.
  • On Tom and Jerry: Mouse Hunt for Game Boy Color, the logo is lighter and the background is blue, and in the background we hear a 8-bit version of the theme song of The New Tom and Jerry Show.
  • On Lego Batman for Nintendo DS, the logo is in black and white.

FX: None, it's a still logo. In the animated version, the zoom in.

Music/Sounds: Here are the music variants:
  • The opening theme of the game.
  • This logo is seen silent.
  • The animated version features an opera-like chord ending with a "ding".

Availability: Common for the regular variant, uncommon for the animated version, and rare for the Space Jam and Batman variants. Seen on games of the era. The Space Jam variant is rare. This logo is currently in use.

Scare Factor: Low for the regular version, and none for the animated version.


2nd Logo
(2001-2006)

Nickname: "CGI WBIE Shield"

Logo: On a black background, several sparks fly to form the Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment logo from the first logo, done in CGI. The logo "shines."

Variant: On The Matrix games, the logo is green.

FX: Everything.

Music/Sounds: The terrorful beauty string tune.

Availability: Seen on Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, and more games. One of the last games to use this was Happy Feet.

Scare Factor: Minimal.


3rd Logo
(2005- )

Nickname: "CGI WBIE Shield II"

Logo: We see the same shield as in the Looney Tunes: Back in Action teaser trailer, the inside is now red, the border of the shield is now light gold, and the banner is now light gold. The words "WARNER BROS. PICTURES" are changed to "INTERACTIVE ENTERTAINMENT". The logo usually slowly zooms in closer.

Trivia: This logo was first used for Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment's 10th anniversary.

Music/Sounds: A horror horn fanfare.

Background: There is another game division founded in 2005 during Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment's 10th anniversary. This company is not to be confused with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

Nickname: "The Shield/Crest"

Logo: We see an image of the Warner Bros. Studios headquarters in Burbank, California from the current Warner Bros. Pictures logo, tinted in blue. Then the picture waves for a second, and then we reveal the navy blue WB shield, done in CGI, on a smokey blue background. "GAMES", in navy blue, fades in at the bottom of the screen.

Variants:
  • On some games, the logo is still.
  • A different logo is sometimes used on some games. It features a cube with the WB shield in it, and "GAMES" below. Also, it is in black and white.
  • On Looney Tunes: Duck Amuck, the logo slides in from the right pushing the "LICENSED BY NINTENDO" text away. Then the WayForward logo flips in on the bottom screen. Then the ActImagine Codec logo crashes through the WayForward logo. Then the logos slide away.

FX: CGI animation.
